joining thanet swim club

 

Thanet Swim Club is the most competitive swimming club in Thanet and the surrounding area. We compete at the highest level, under the guidance of Head Coach David Whorlow who coaches both Herne Bay & Thanet. Our swimmers have achieved success at local, county, district and national level.

To maintain this level of achievement, Thanet Swim Club requires certain ability criteria (see table below) to produce swimmers that will sustain the club's progression.

There will soon be an intermediate group providing a springboard for those that wish to but do not meet the criteria.

Thanet Swim Club also provides for swimmers that do not wish to compete. Sunday Club and Thanet Lifeguard Club are friendly & leisurely swimming environments, geared towards gaining awards that could be of use in the future.
